Who publishes Zemiam, who hosts the site, and how to reach the publisher.

The publisher

The zemiam.app site and the Zemiam app are published by:

This address is checked. French law requires a direct and effective means of contact, which an unanswered address would not be.

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., a company incorporated in the United States, which serves it.

Data hosting

Account data, the food journal, and meal photos are hosted with Supabase, in the eu-west-1 region, in the European Union. Service emails are sent through Resend, in the same region.

Analyzing photos involves a model provider established outside the European Union. That transfer, its basis, and its safeguards are described in the privacy policy.

Intellectual property

The Zemiam name, the logo, the mascot, the text, the visual identity, and the app's interface are protected. Reproducing or adapting them, in whole or in part, requires the publisher's written consent.

Data on packaged products comes from Open Food Facts and is distributed under the ODbL license. It remains the property of its contributors, and reusing it follows the terms of that license.

The nutritional composition of everyday foods comes from the Ciqual table published by the Anses (the French food safety agency): Anses. 2025. Table de composition nutritionnelle des aliments Ciqual, distributed under the Licence Ouverte 2.0. Values are reused unchanged. An estimate shown by Zemiam is not a figure from the Anses: the composition comes from the table, the portion comes from the estimate, and the final number is the product of both.

Values for restaurant-chain items (McDonald's, Burger King, KFC, Quick) are the ones each chain publishes on its own site for its own products. They are reused as published, per serving, with the date they were checked shown next to each value. Chain and product names are trademarks that belong to their owners: here they only identify what was eaten, and no link, partnership, or agreement exists between these chains and Zemiam. A chain that wants its values updated or removed can request it at contact@zepraug.com.

The Bricolage Grotesque and Figtree typefaces are used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.

Report content

Unlawful content or an incorrect figure can be reported at contact@zepraug.com. A report is faster to act on when it names the screen or address concerned, the date, and what is being disputed.
