Delete account
What leaves, what remains, and the two ways to ask for it.
From the app, in three taps
This is the fastest path, and it erases immediately. Open Zemiam, go to Profile, then Account, then Delete account. The screen recaps what is about to leave and asks for confirmation.
No retention period follows: deletion happens during the request, it is not queued.
Without the app
If the app has already been uninstalled, write to contact@zepraug.com from the account's own email address, with the subject line “Account deletion”.
Sending from that address serves as verification. A form open on this page could not provide that: anyone could have someone else's account deleted just by knowing their address. The request is handled within thirty days, and in practice within a few days.
What is erased
In both cases, erasure covers:
- the profile and the basics
- the goals and the target
- the Journal and every meal in it
- the water logged
- the favorites
- the steps
- the weigh-ins and the measurements
- the notes of the day
- the flagged estimates
- the consent history
- the home layout
- the fasting schedule
- the fasting windows
- the subscription status
- the subscription screens already shown
- the guides marked as read
- the month's count of AI analyses
- the meal photos
The sign-in identifier is deleted along with the rest, and the “Sign in with Apple” connection is revoked with Apple: Zemiam disappears from the list of apps using your Apple ID.
What remains, and why
- the opt-out from being contacted again, if this address marked a message as spam or a delivery to it failed for good. Erasing it would reopen sending to someone who doesn't want it
- the technical log of messages sent to this address, which keeps the same report from being handled twice
These two traces carry only an email address and no health data, no meal, no weigh-in.
The subscription is not affected
Deleting the account does not cancel an active subscription and does not stop any charge. A subscription is canceled from the App Store or Google Play settings, which collect the payment, and only they can stop it.
